Christ In You Is The Gospel

The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; As it is written IN the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, Which shall prepare thy way before thee. Mark 1:1‭-‬2 KJV

In the beginning… in Christ… is the cross and the resurrection… in you… the gospel is Christ in you… Son of God is His Only Begotten Covenant… as it is written *IN* the prophets… the Spirit of God written IN our hearts… the Covenant of God is the Eternal Gospel written IN us. IT’S CHRIST IN YOU! We are living epistles. Walking testimonies of what Christ has done. The Spirit is sent before us (to the cross and the resurrection), drawing us to humility, lifting our countenance to see Him as He is, preparing our hearts to receive truth, crucifying our old man, to reveal Christ IN us.

Christ IN you is the gospel! The finished work Jesus did to put His Spirit IN you and the work He does IN you and THRU you, conforming you to His image in your heart by His Spirit IS THE GOSPEL.

The work of God is the gospel. It’s Christ in you!!

The good news is that Jesus made it possible for us to know Him. Not just to know what He has done for us on the cross, not just to know ABOUT Him, but to actually KNOW HIM! PERSONALLY!

YOU CAN KNOW GOD ALMIGHTY!!

YOU CAN TRULY BECOME ONE WITH GOD ALMIGHTY THE MORE THAT YOU SEEK HIM IN TRUTH AND SPEND TIME WITH HIM. HE WILL SHARE HIMSELF WITH YOU AND IN YOU!

I get so grieved in my heart when I see Christians talking about Jesus like He is just a far away idea… or someone just to be studied … without understanding that HE CAN BE KNOWN! God Almighty is willing to share Himself with people! He shares His thoughts and His heart! He unravels and reveals mysteries within us! YOU CAN KNOW GOD IF YOU SEEK HIM!!

You can see as He does! You can understand with His heart IN you! He will show you the world thru His very own eyes! His words will start to flow out of your mouth and you will know that it is Christ in you.

I was thinking about what it means to know someone in a biblical way… and it’s not just “hey how ya doing, good to see ya” kind of a thing… it’s real intimacy… as intimate as two people can get. It doesnt get any more intimate than one person being INSIDE the other.

It is impossible to “be christlike“… only Christ IN you can live HIS life… IN YOU! He’s the only one who can do it… AND HE DOES!! “What would Jesus do?” are words I used to try to live by…. but that is still coming from the natural mind. It sounds like a noble thing but in reality anything that comes from the natural mind is the flesh and isn’t Christ.

Being crucified with Christ is MORE than just doctrine to believe… it’s MORE than just an IDEA to be understood… its ACTUAL truth! It’s a LITERAL thing! It’s a REALITY that can be EXPERIENCED! The risen Christ living HIS life IN you! Not your old man doing something different… but your old man DYING. Your old man being OVERCOME by the new man within you. CHRIST LIVING IN YOU AND THRU YOU! HIS LIFE IN YOU IS THE GOSPEL!

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory: Colossians 1:26-27 KJV
