the synagogue of satan

Sharing some of my notes from last year… I think this relates to my recent post about adam being the lawless one…

Jesus took me thru the book of rev for many months last year and showed me just how deep and personal that book is to each and every person… especially those who are born again, because it’s a revelation of Christ in you, and how He overcomes death and hell IN His people. Here and now.

I’m obsessed with Rev! Ive been reading it for months! Jesus wont let me move on from this book. Lol… wanted to share… when He called me out of the churches He told me they were synagauges of satan… but its wayyy deeper than that… a synagogue of satan isnt a building… it’s a person void of the spirit… clouds without rain…. and still it goes deeper and more personal. The flesh in each of us is the synagogue of satan. Satan IS the flesh.

Last year, a brother shared this with me and I never forgot it. He said “Jesus turns goats into sheep”… Christ overcomes the flesh IN His people.

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan (the flesh), which say they are Jews, and are not (beasts and false Christs rising up IN us/ the heart of man is the beast and the false prophet that must be thrown into the lake of fire which is Gods Spirit), but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet (we are seated in heavenly places in Christ, ruling and reigning with Christ over the flesh IN us, we walk by the Spirit and not the flesh/ the lamb [Christ] dwelling with the wolf [man submitted] ), and to know that I have loved thee. Revelation 3:9

Also the vs about being lukewarm and spit out of Jesus mouth… i used to work with a really churchy lady and we would chat… I would always share what Jesus was teaching me… i was pretty new in the Lord… she would make sure to call her “pastor” or whoever in front of me to tell them she was fasting… lol… I was like ewwww that’s so gross it was such an outward show. Anyways, I started feeling like there was slime all over me one day talking w her when she was putting on a show…  like i was literally gonna throw up… Jesus told me that’s how He feels about the outward flesh show… He wanted her to be set free… anyhow back to the lukewarm verse… sure all the churches are lukewarm  cuz they follow Jesus in the flesh… but also the flesh IN us is what Jesus is talking about in that verse (REV is SOOOO personal)…

So then because thou art lukewarm ( in the flesh), and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth (consume that flesh with my Spirit/ lake of fire/ life in Christ as He conquers the flesh in us,  overcoming the beast and false prophet IN us).   Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked (this is the heart of stone/ adam/ the flesh in all of us/ the flesh is deaf dumb and blind):   I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire (be born again/ filled w the Spirit), that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed (in the righteousness of Christ), and that the shame of thy nakedness (our own righteousness) do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve (see truth by the Spirit), that thou mayest see. Revelation 3:16‭-‬18 KJV

The flesh hates God. It opposes Him in every way. The flesh is anti-christ. Even my own flesh. And even yours.

The flesh in each of us is the graven image that we are not to put before GodThe flesh is a dead thing. A synagogue of satan. The flesh is deaf, dumb, blind, naked, and deceived. Only the Spirit gives life.

There are only 2 spirits in this world. Adam (flesh) and Christ (Spirit).

You must be born again.

  1. It reminded me of the separation of the goats from the sheep (Matthew 25 and Matthew 7, flesh from the SPIRIT, the goat goes up and down the mountain in their own name, and JESUS says away, I never knew you….and yes the churches were all flesh, “all Asia (all 7 churches) has turned against me”……2 Tim 1:15…

  2. Something cool I found… in hebrew the word ‘devils’ is sayir… it is also translated as ‘hairy’ or ‘goat’… which sounds like the flesh to me… it comes from a root word meaning something like chaff being blown away… I thought that was pretty cool and a picture of what Jesus does overcoming our flesh w His Spirit!

  4. Great post Tatiana! I have felt that slime feeling many times too hah, and can only imagine how much slime I was giving out myself before. Loved what u wrote abt the synagogue of satan. We are either a synagogue/temple of the man of sin (that wicked to be revealed) or of Christ. Love that abt goats too.. I remember I used to think that some people were born goats and some were born sheep, that it was an us vs them thing.. but no, we r all goats. The sheep are made in the image of the Lamb of God, Christ Himself. Love how revelation is a personal revelation for us all so its not limited to time and events, but is ongoing and true for us. Like the cross being ongoing.

  5. I was a huge slime carrier also… I used to think the same that some were born sheep and some goats… theres no room for boasting in Christ and I definitely learned this the hard way… but I am grateful to learn humility… it certainly didnt come natural for me lol… getting easier the more I get to know Jesus and the more He overcomes in me…

Love what you wrote about personal rev and the cross.

  6. Just want to share with you that Laodocea in Greek means ‘the peoples rights or opinions’. pretty interesting considering they were lukewarm and the city itself was known for its water system…Be blessed in Him

  7. Anytime I read about water in the scriptures… I understand it to be a parable of the spirit… whether it be mans spirit (like the Nile being turned to blood)… or Gods Spirit (living waters)…
