a city that God built ❤

Was laying here thinking about stuff…the Lord gave me the thought “a city that God built “

about how its God who builds His city in us… its the stuff that doesnt get burned up… He builds His City and His Kingdom in His people… about how we are a city set on a hill… the new Jerusalem…His holy city, Bis bride, a city who’s builder and maker is God….

Was thinking about this city…its the new heart… it’s all Christ…truth/Spirit… its forgiveness from the heart… righteousness… peace… joy…the love of God… the faith produced by Christ from trials that He overcomes in us… everything in this city is produced by Christ in us… the city is Christ Himself in a person… the new heart… the new spirit… the new name… the new creation… it’s all Christ… everything He produces in us is Himself (Spirit/truth)… that’s all He will accept… He doesnt want our fleshly forgiveness…. our fleshly love… our false peace or fake joy…. He will only build Himself in us…. solid gold that doesn’t burn up…

Just remembering a time of being SOOO offended by people… was carrying this offense and hurt for over a year… trying in my own fleshly way to forgive and let go… it wasnt happening… lol… a couple months ago Jesus let me see a religious spirit in me…. immediately I was able to see it in the person I was so hurt by… understanding that they were under the influence of this ugly spirit… and all of this love and forgiveness started flowing out of my heart like a river… it didnt even come from me… I wanted them to be set free… I saw it was a spiritual battle…. the freedom I wanted for them didnt come from me wanting an apology anymore… it was selfless forgiveness… wanting the best for them… a love that doesnt seek it’s own but seeks the good of others… i couldn’t do it myself… Christ did it in me and thru me… wow…

Christ building His City in me…the new Jerusalem… rivers of living water (Christ) flowing from the throne of God (the heart)… the leaves on the trees (those in Christ) bringing healing (Christ) to the nations (people)… trees (believers) bearing fruit (Christ in us manifesting)…. God building His City… in His people…. ❤
